Terms & Conditions
1. Who we are
MoneyFinder is operated by Veradine Ltd, company number HE 487415, registered in Cyprus. You can contact us any time at support@moneyfinder.org.uk, and we aim to reply within one working day.
We are an independent sign-posting service that helps you find financial support you may be entitled to — benefits, grants, Council Tax reductions, tax reliefs and social tariffs. We are not a government body, we are not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, and we do not provide regulated financial advice. We help you identify and apply for support; the decision always rests with the relevant authority, such as your council, HMRC or the DWP. We never take a share of anything you receive.
2. What you get, and when
Checking your eligibility and seeing a summary of what you may qualify for is free and needs no card details. When you subscribe and your first payment is taken we unlock, immediately: your full personalised report, and your personalised letters, which you can edit, copy and download as PDFs. There is nothing to wait for and nothing is posted to you.
3. What you pay
All prices are in pounds sterling (GBP) and include any applicable tax. There are no hidden fees and no charges beyond those set out here.
- £34.99 today — your first monthly payment, taken when you subscribe. It unlocks your full report and letters immediately and covers your first month.
- Then £34.99 per month, taken automatically on the same date each month, starting 30 days after you subscribe.
- The subscription continues until you cancel. There is no minimum term and no notice period.
- There is no free trial and no introductory rate. The price is £34.99 a month from your first payment onwards, and it does not change after any initial period.
We will email you before each monthly payment, telling you the amount, the date it will be taken, and how to cancel. On your bank or card statement these payments appear as MONEYFINDER.
4. How to cancel
You can cancel at any time, yourself, in a couple of clicks — from your account, from the “Manage or cancel” link in any email we send you, or by emailing support@moneyfinder.org.uk. You never have to phone us and there is no retention process. Cancelling stops all future payments, and we will email you to confirm your cancellation.
5. Your 14-day right to cancel, and how it works here
Because you buy online, you normally have a 14-day right to change your mind under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
Your report and letters are digital and are supplied to you in full and immediately when you pay — that is the point of the service. At checkout we therefore ask you to tick a box confirming two things: that you want us to start straight away, and that you understand you lose the 14-day right to cancel once we do. We record that consent with the date and time. If you did not tick that box, we would not be able to give you immediate access.
The 14-day right applies only to that initial supply. It does not restrict your right to cancel the monthly subscription, which you can do at any time under section 4 above.
6. Refunds
Because everything is delivered to you immediately, any payment already taken — including your first — is not refunded for the period you have already had access to. Cancelling stops every future payment straight away.
This does not affect your legal rights. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 our service must be provided with reasonable care and skill and must match how we have described it. If it is faulty, not as described, or we do not provide what you paid for, you are entitled to a remedy — including a repeat performance or a refund — and nothing in these terms limits or excludes that. If something has gone wrong, email support@moneyfinder.org.uk and tell us what happened; we would rather fix it than argue about it.
If you believe a payment was taken in error or without your authority, contact us first and we will investigate promptly.
7. What we need from you
The letters and guidance we provide are templates personalised from the information you give us. You are responsible for checking the details are correct and complete before sending anything to a third party. You can edit any letter before you send it. Please give us accurate information — an application based on wrong details may be refused by the organisation you send it to.
8. What we cannot promise
We tell you what you may be eligible for and help you ask for it. We cannot guarantee that any application will succeed, or the amount you will receive — those decisions are made by the relevant authority, not by us. Scheme rules, thresholds and eligibility change; always check the current position on gov.uk or with the organisation concerned.
9. Your data
We process your personal data in line with UK GDPR and our Privacy Policy. We never store your card details — these are handled directly by our payment provider.
10. Complaints
If you are unhappy with anything, email support@moneyfinder.org.uk with the details. We will acknowledge it within one working day and aim to resolve it within 14 days. If we cannot resolve it between us, you can raise the matter with your local Trading Standards service via the Citizens Advice consumer helpline, and you retain the right to take a claim to court.
11. Governing law
Veradine Ltd is registered in Cyprus and these terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Wherever you live in the UK, you keep the benefit of the mandatory consumer protections of your home country, and nothing in these terms takes those away.
